Our spacious communal areas are open at all hours. It's a great way to socialize, play, watch TV (all your Freeview channels on good-sized screens), study quietly, or just chilling out with friends, we’re open around the clock so be ready to make friends.
There is a fully equipped GYM, completely FREE to use for all residents. You have a common area with everything from Sky TV to games consoles & pool table - the perfect hub for social events. You can also relax and enjoy the sun in the landscaped outdoor courtyard, featuring a large table, perfect for communal studying. We’ve plenty of storage racks/ bike storage to keep your bikes safe and sound.

Student Castle is approximately 25 minutes from Edinburgh Airport by taxi. The Edinburgh tram system also links the city centre & airport with an average journey time of 35 minutes.
From the bus station
Edinburgh bus station serves national coaches & is within 30 minutes walking time from Student Castle or 15 minutes by taxi.
From the train station
Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station is less than a mile away - a 25-minute walk or 12 minutes if you jump in a taxi.
All our residents will get unlimited free use of our specially made Student Castle bikes! Perfect for cycling to uni, exploring the City, or for a bit of exercise! We will provide you with helmets and locks too.
Our friendly management team is available to answer any questions you may have, while our maintenance team is on hand to deal with any repairs.
The safety of our residents is very important. We’ve got security round the clock, 24/7 in every property keeping you safe and sound day and night. All rooms are very safe - all door entry is key fobbed and all communal space has CCTV.

All your utility bills (including super-fast broadband and WiFi) are included, as is contents insurance for your room.
Most of our students pay for their entire stay in one easy upfront payment. However, it’s possible to pay in three installments if you have a UK guarantor – this is a person (not a company or government) who lives and works full time in the UK, is willing to submit to a credit check, and can commit to paying your rent if you fail to do so.
