Everything was functional and spotlessly clean, from the dorms to the bathrooms. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. I stayed in a 16-bed dorm, but with only five guests, it felt spacious and comfortable. The en-suite facilities were well-designed, with two toilet cabins and three showers, all impeccably clean. The hot water worked perfectly, and complimentary shampoo and conditioner were a nice touch. Breakfast was more than satisfactory, providing a good start to the day. The overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay. A small but appreciated gesture was that they didn’t charge me for the padlock at check-in because I only had a €100 bill and no smaller change—I returned it at check-out. They also provided a towel free of charge. For anyone looking for a well-run, clean, and conveniently located hostel in Galway, I highly recommend it.
