In Zaltaxar everything is ready to share. Travelers from different latitudes meet at the Hostel and share experiences, information, a meal or a good conversation while they plan and organize their adventures or rest before continuing the trip.

Those with less experience in outdoor activities will learn to pack a backpack, to choose the right equipment for a campsite in Patagonia or to prepare a menu for days of trekking, nature and unpredictable

From Zaltaxar you can do different activities: Trekking or horseback riding to the viewpoint of Sierra Dorotea, a day of bicycling to the Natural Monument Cueva del Milodón, a day of rock climbing in Cerro Benitez and Laguna Sofia. A trip in Kayak in the Eberhard Fjord or a navigation to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers of Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. All attractions located between 9 and 60 Kms. from Puerto Natales.
