The cabaret culture was certainly booming during the Belle Epoque, the Moulin Rouge with its can-can, and the Bateau Lavoir with its Absynth drinkers.
One can still hear echoes of another era and not surprisingly as the area hasn’t changed all that much. Montmartre is still home to 240 bars, cafés bistros and pubs.
We are on two major metro lines, one north to south, the other east to west. This means you can get anywhere quickly and easily.
Add to that the Open Tour buses, city buses, and Velib bicycles, and Paris is your oyster.
The closest metro station is Blanche Station, a 5-minute walk and only 350 meters from the Moulin Rouge, 2 km from the Opera and 28 km from the nearest airport of Paris-Charles de Gaulle. ( train 1 hr )

Personnel très accueillant et aidant. Chambres et literies impeccables Petits déjeuners satisfaisant et suffisant Bâtiment très étroit mais à l'image des bâtiments parisiens (il faut juste s'habituer :)) Très bon emplacement, à 5 mn du métro et des bus, la rue des Abbesses est à 1mn. Malgré cela, cet hébergement est très calme. Ce fut un régal et nous y reviendrons sûrement ! Merci !!!
Excellent emplacement, accueil "comme en famille", de l'arrivée au départ en passant par les petits déjeuners; Bienveillance et jovialité ! Nous étions 2 en chambre individuelle, l'équipement était parfait, et il y avait un ventilateur et store à la fenêtre, bienvenue en ces temps de fortes températures! Merci à toute l'équipe! Nous reviendrons, c'est certain!?
