Nice room but it felt a little bit crammed. Common areas are not very cozy but quite clean though. Pictures should be updated because there is a Starbucks instead of the big entry.

Es un albergue, que al principio, parece que está un poco más alejado del centro, pero está en una ubicación muy buena y cerca de una calle muy concurrida y que puedes encontrar de todo. Es un albergue muy limpio, buenas instalaciones y el personal es muy agradable y dispuesto, te dan todas las indicaciones que necesites y te ayudan. Lo único que en las habitaciones donde hay más camas para compartir, hay muy pocos enchufes, todo lo contrario en la cocina, donde encuentras mucha facilidad para cargar todo los dispositivos. Y como aprovechan todo espacio para poner camas y que quepa más gente, no hay taquillas para guardar tú los objetos más valiosos o el dinero. Hay unas jaulas o taquillas al lado de recepción que cuestan 2 por día tenerlas.

Le personnel de l'auberge est sympathique, aide en cas de problème. La cuisine est bien équipée et rangée. Les parties communes comprennent un billard, une salle Netflix, ping-pong et jeux de société. Les chambres sont assez petites et quelques problèmes de propreté (chewing-gum au plafond). Aussi il y a un panneaux lumineux vert sortie au dessus de la porte qui est allumé 24H/24, pas super la nuit. Sinon l'emplacement est très bon, proche du centre et de Temple Bar.

Grande auberge, beaucoup de monde et de passage. Chambre correcte mais petite (6 personnes). Sanitaires propres et spacieux. Petit déjeuner appréciable. Il manque des casiers perso dans les chambres. Bon accueil. Très bien située

Le personnel est compétent et sympathique, les chambres sont propres et bien organisées. Les douches sont bien aussi même s'il y a souvent des baisses de pression.

Lors de ma réservation j'ai bien indiqué la composition de la famille de 9 personnes (soit 6 adultes 2 ados de 17 ans et un de 12 ans) et nous avions un dortoir de 10 lits À notre arrivée une hôtesse pas trop sympathique nous indique qu'on ne peut accueillir une autre personne dans notre chambre compte tenu de l'âge des enfants ce qui n'était pas prévu quand j'ai réservé Du coup elle m'a fait payer un supplément de 2 nuits pour le lit inoccupé soit 40€ est ce normal ?

Pour avoir passé 4 nuits dans cette auberge, je ne la recommande pas. Chambres de 12 petites au confort spartiate, très mauvaise insonorisation (préparez vous à entendre de la techno toute la nuit même avec des bouchons d’oreilles), et le personnel de l’hôtel est aussi froid qu’un frigo. Seul point positif l’emplacement à 2 pas du centre-ville Alors oui ça reste pas cher mais c’est déjà trop cher pour ce que c’est.

We stayed in a private quad with a private bathroom, and while the room was rather small, it did what it said on the tin. The hostel's location is idea for getting to and from the airport (bus stops outside - no16 bus), it's a short walk to Temple Bar etc, and you've got access to Wexford Street and Camden Street, which boast some cheap eats and bars.

Central location

Avalon House was very clean and comfortable. The unisex washrooms were nice and had plenty of showers. The room I stayed in was nice, offering comfortable beds. I was lucky to have been in a quiet room, so I had a nice stay. Breakfast is included, though it is limited to cereal and toasts. As far as hostels go, Avalon is pretty plain, but it has a great location near Temple Bar and St Stephen Green.

The location is good, it's in walking distance to all attractions, nightlife, shopping and the bus to the airport stops right outside. The hostel does free walking tours around Dublin and they have a pub crawl which would be good for people looking to meet others. There are nice common areas and a coffee shop within the building. There is free breakfast (though I missed this!)

Everything was clearly organized, staff was really helpful. Whatever you wanted to see, you could walk to (most) sights.
