Located in a beautiful, residential neighborhood, the International Student Center (ISC), is a landmark brownstone, located in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. We welcome students, lifelong learners, and world travelers, from near and far. One of the absolute best parts about staying in a place like ours, is getting to make new friends from corners of the world. Whether traveling solo or with a group, you are welcome here.
As a small and centrally located hostel, you’ll find charm, comfort, and convenience here. We are a ½ block to Central Park, restaurants, cafes, shops, and the subway. Museums, iconic sites, food markets, and other amenities nearby.

Check-in is 3pm-10pm. Our hostel is located in a historic brownstone building with lots of stairs & NO elevator or accessible ramps.
Please note: guests staying at ISC must be over 18 years (unless part of a school group or staying in a private room with a legal guardian).

Nice place
L’accueil fût tout simplement incroyable. La propriétaire de l’auberge est accueillante er bienveillante. Je me suis sentie chez moi, après avoir parlé de mes insécurités de mon premier voyage en solo. Je ne peux que recommander cette auberge tellement elle est incroyable
L'auberge est située juste en face de central park, et a coté du métro, un très bel emplacement! Nous avons eu un accueil extrêmement chaleureux et ils ont été très arrangeants pour le dépôt de bagages, mais aussi pour nous conseiller des endroits à visiter. Les espaces communs sont très bien et cozy, et la cuisine est très bien équipée. Le ménage est fait tout les jours, et les salles de bain sont très propres. Allez-y si vous aimez les auberges de jeunesse, vous serez très bien lotis!

The location is great. A few steps from the metro station. The girl that received me at night was very nice and helpful.
