Nîmes La Cigale Youth Hostel is situated near the city centre, in a quiet neighbourhood. The city of Nîmes has an abundant historical heritage, and is known as the ‘French Rome’.
The hostel is located in the heart of an olive grove, in an enclosed botanical park: an invitation to relax. Enjoy the South of France’s warm air over a drink, a meal or breakfast with fellow travellers on our shady terrace, with the chirping of cicadas and soothing flow of the fountain in the background.

Nîmes is an exciting Mediterranean city that becomes particularly vibrant during festivals and its famous ‘ferias’. The arena and the ‘Maison Carrée’ are unmissable monuments, and the gardens of la Fontaine offer a pleasant setting for a stroll. Discover the Tour Magne, from where the view on the Old Nîmes is spectacular. In the evening, allow yourself to be tempted by Nîmes’ restaurants: they offer many specialities such as cod ‘brandade’, tapenade and ‘Picholine’ olives!

L accueil du soir a été parfait, même si le prix payé ne correspond pas a la réservation, j ai payé 7 € plus cher, ce que je trouve anormal. Le petit déjeuner est correct pour le prix par contre le personnel du matin assez antipathique.
J'ai vécu un très joli séjour, à répéter
Pour ma première expérience en auberge de jeunesse, j'ai trouvé un superbe endroit, en pleine nature et au calme. Des locaux propres et fonctionnels et un personnel très gentil et accueillant.
Rien à redire, super accueil, cadre hyper reposant, un vrai plaisir.
Accueil super sympa! Le lieu est propre et plutôt bien aménagé. Petit-déjeuner simple, efficace et surtout inclus!
