HostelliThis guesthouse is all about preserving the memories of the building, expressing the detailing, creating a natural, comfortable and authentic interior which appears to be a joy to occupy. All efforts have been made to preserve as much of the character of the existing building as possible. Existing features have been left untouched while new circulation has been added. The interior retains traces of its previous incarnations in the form of sections of exposed beams, brickwork and aged door.

Right in the heart of George Town and easy to walk everywhere. Also near to major bus stops to get around the rest of Penang island. Very chilled out and quiet, which was perfect for me, but some others may be interested in the more social, party hostels across the street. Dislike shower and the toilet in one room, but not a major problem.
Everything you need in walking distance but still in a quiet area. Very nice host and a great help with information etc!
