About the place

Our place is close to Panagsama Beach, Moalboal, and to Kawasan waterfalls between Moalboal and Badian and is great for solo adventurers and (especially) big groups.
We have four cottages with private bathroom and balcony, and four dormitory rooms each with 10 beds and communal bathrooms a few steps from the rooms.
Of course, we have a restaurant including delicious vegetarian options.
Our activities include paddle boarding and sea kayaks, mangrove exploration and adventure trips to local canyons.

We can provide sports facilities such as sea kayaks and paddle boards and in partnership with local operators, guided visits to Kawasan waterfalls or canyoneering in the rivers and streams of the area, zip-lining high high high above the valleys in the Matutinao area and horse-riding in the hills above Badian Bay. There are excellent mountain bike trails for those who wish to explore the hills of Cebu on two wheels rather than four legs and active groups of locals and expats to share your exploration with!
We offer protected year-round access to Badian Bay for water sports and often spectacular sunset views over Negros.

We are about 100m walk from barangay Bugas and the main road between Badian (4km away) and Moalboal (6km away).
Panagsama Beach is about 10km away.
Kawasan waterfalls about 10km in the other direction.
It is easy to find a tricycle, jeepney or bus to any of these places and buses to/from Cebu and Bato also run on this road.
Eskapo Verde is located on our own two hectare island in Badian Bay on the west coast of Cebu and connected to the mainland by a charming bamboo boardwalk through the mangroves. We have space for you to walk, to think, to absorb the natural world around you.

Good to know
We have no air-conditioning at Eskapo Verde. Our rooms have been designed to have a low carbon-footprint and use natural ventilation, passive cooling and shade from our constantly-growing trees to maintain a comfortable temperature year-round.
Our resort rooms are 300 m from the nearest road, and we have no neighbours, no TV, no piped or amplified music and no karaoke.
Due to the amount of wildlife and birds on our island, we do not allow pets for overnight stays. Dog and cats generally chase moving things and this disturbs the other inhabitants of our island. Unfortunately, we are not a pet-friendly destination.
