The place is amazing

Close to the historical center of Paraty and with good options of activities on the beach that the hostel is located. The rooms are spacious and well cleaned. The space is large with hammocks and views of the sea. There is a bar available at the hostel. And the staff is very friendly and kind.

Passable

Ideal if you're just passing through. On the other hand breakfast was simple yet filling. Views are nice there's monkeys all around.

The place could use some TLC

What you see in the photos is not a beach that you ca go into, is black mood with a lot of dirt and mosquitoes. None of the bathrooms or showers where cleaned at any time. They checked in people at 2 am! The whole construction is made of wood so the noise is too high. The mattress where uncomfortable and smelly, looked like they don't disinfect those at all, gave me some allergy.
