Pets are not permitted at YHA York. Towels are not supplied as standard but can be rented or purchased from reception. Bedding is supplied in all rooms. The hostel is wheelchair accessible. The hostel also features meeting room facilities and Wi-Fi in communal areas.
Minimum age for dorms is 11 years old. All 11-18 year olds cannot stay in dorms unless they are accompanied by an adult staying in the same dorm. Bookings that violate this age restriction will be cancelled and non-refundable!

Nice family friendly atmosphere

Il contesto naturalistico in cui è inserita rispecchia molto il carattere della città. E' abbastanza pulito e ricco di servizi e docce al piano, anche se un po' scomodi dal punto di vista funzionale. Molto bella la terrazza all'aperto fuori e lo spazio comune vetrato, in cui la sera c'era musica dal vivo. Non troppo centrale rispetto alla città che è comunque raggiungibile a piedi lungo il fiume.

Space of the accommodation
Felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Staff were friendly and fun! Location was only a mile and half from the city centre which was about a pleasant 15 minute walk along the banks of the river

The value for money and the cleanliness were fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay.

The bedroom was really spacious. It has lockers big enough to leave all your things. It's better if you bring your own padlock. Common areas are very nice and for £5 you get an excellent breakfast.
The location is great, not too central but in easy walking distance of the centre. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the staff are very helpful.
