Location is great, staff very friendly, good breakfast (i liked fresh fruit).

Everthing. It was clean, the staff was always eager to help and very friendly. The hostel is directly located at the gaslamp quarter and you don't need to go far to have a lot of fun. Other locations like the harbour are also in a 10- 15 minute distance. You can't choose a better hostel!

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Plus, very comfortable atmosphere. I felt safe and surrounded by nice people. Everything is neat and tidy and the kitchen is big and offers everything you need for cooking.

Comfortable mattresses on the bunk beds, good airflow, showers with separate area to get dressed, location right in the heart of the Gaslight District with lots of restaurants, bars, shopping and food stores close by. The staff were great, friendly and helpful and always arranging things to do.

Nice staff, small friendly hostel in the centre of San Diego.

Friendly, well stocked kitchen equipment and free breakfast. Clean rooms with lockers and ability to purchase lock. Very helpful staff who can tell you the best ways to get to places

Amazing breakfast, great beer specials every evening, very friendly staff and a great location.

I loved my stay at USA Hostels San Diego. The atmosphere is very lively and friendly, from the guests to the staff (some of whom seemed to live there.) Everything is very clean. The bathroom is co-ed, but the toilets and showers are in little rooms with doors, so they are very private. I stayed in a four-person dorm room which was small, but each bed had a private light and outlet, and a little wall up by the pillow for privacy. Bonus: there were outlets inside the lockers so I could charge my stuff while I was out!

The staff is awesome and the atmosphere great. Activities organized for the people staying are a big plus especially when traveling alone. It helps making friends!

Fun, friendly , an you meet good people

Great location right in the heart if all the restaurants and bars. Also easy to get to all the attractions from here. Hostel was very clean and nicely presented. Plenty of staff to offer assistance too. I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm, and really liked the additions to the bunks which offered additions privacy as well as a light, power outlet and shelf.

David is friendly and helpful. He guided me anything. Example, how to get to airport, and manhattan. The hostel is comfortable, tidy and clean. Transport is very convenience. It took me 30 mins to go to manhattan.

Good hostel!

Staff are very helpful and friendly, offer daily excursions or other ideas for things you may want to do yourself. They also organize either drinking games or pub crawls during the night time hours! Place is the cleanest I have stayed in as far as hostels go. Also right on the doorstep of the gaslamp party area.
