Hostel Freedom Traveller

Les 2 seuls points positifs: accueil presque toujours ouvert et situation géographique à 2 pas de la gare Termini. Tout le reste laisse à désirer. Notre chambre était dans une autre rue, ce qui ne facilite pas les échanges entre voyageurs. Cuisine (est ce bien une cuisine ??) un frigo, un micro ondes. Pas de vaisselle, pas de couverts....Petit déjeuner compris ?? Une caisse avec une viennoiserie à disposition avec du café. Les soirées organisées ?? Nous sommes restés 5 nuits ...Rien de tout ça...Une bouteille de mauvais vin mis sur un plateau avec un paquet de chips....Un évier minuscule et malgré notre demande réitérée pas de produit vaisselle ni d'éponge...Même chose pour les couvertures....Tous les matins j'ai réclamé, 5 nuits après je n'avais toujours pas!! Quand change t on les draps et les serviettes de toilette dans cet établissement ?? Nous avons malgré tout passé un bon séjour, mais très déçus du manque de convivialité propre aux auberges!!!

Las instalaciones estaban bastante sucias. Aunque estaba lejos del centro, estaba cerca de la estación.

My friends and I (three of us) had a 4 bed private room. There are so many issues we have with this hostel. For the “lockers” you need to bring your own lock but that doesn’t even matter as the whole back of the wooden cupboards are completely apart and you can reach your hand in them to steal if someone wanted. The locks on the doors literally locked us in for 15 minutes and the front desk didn’t answer the phone to help us, we had to wait for someone to pass by to get help. Not being dramatic but we really would have died if there was a fire. And lastly, “free breakfast” is advertised but it’s only 1 croissant and like 20 minutes after breakfast starts, they are already eaten. Idk I think you should advertise in the description that the breakfast is 1 croissant. The location is great but not worth it.

L’auberge est bien située au cœur de la ville. Les employés sont super gentils, mais les salles de bain dans les chambres sont sales. La cuisine est bien équipée.

Good. Only downside should have better washrooms. Go early if you want to have free breakfast.

El lugar se encuentra muy cerca de la estación Termini que te conecta a diferentes lugares. El personal es muy atento. El lugar posee las condiciones básicas para alguien que esta de transito a otros lugares.-The place is very close to Termini station which connects you to different places. The staff is very attentive. The place has the basic conditions for someone who is in transit to other places.

- Aire acondicionado - Buena insonorización, cuentan con horarios de silencio (por las noches) - Toallas y mantas individuales (éramos 3) - Buena atención y buen inglés - WIFI en todas partes - Céntrico y bien localizado: a unos 5 mins del metro (Termini), supermercado cerca... - Los otros alberguistas respetan y limpian cubiertos y platos usados (por regla del albergue) - Te dan un panfleto con el horario del albergue - Tienen varios edificios (a menos de una manzana). Como solo uno de ellos tiene cocina, es necesario desplazarse para usarla si no se está alojado en el edificio principal. (No es un gran inconveniente, pero a tener en cuenta). - Algún problema con las llaves (cuesta abrir algunas puertas) - La cocina deja que desear (no hay trapos y no está precisamente limpia) - Algunas habitaciones han sufrido visibles daños estéticos - Algunos enchufes no funcionaban - No hay taquillas, pero todas las habitaciones tienen llave

Bon séjour dans la ville de ROME. Auberge de jeunesse très bien situé dans cette ville, à seulement 05 petites minutes à pied de la gare Termini Rome. L'accueil est chaleureux et nous sommes placé dans une chambre à 04 au lieu de 06 (heureux). La chambre est correcte, propre, un lit superposé et deux lits simples. La SdB et les WC se trouvent dans la chambre. Gros bémol, la propreté de la SdB avec un rideau très sale (moisissure) pour fermer la douche. Présence de clim dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner (une boisson + une viennoiserie) pris d'un un petit bar situé juste à la sortie de l'auberge.

Pour le prix il ne faut pas s'imaginer la lune. Nous avions une chambre individuelle, une salle de bain commune. Le tout est pas mal du tout (emplacement, immeuble avec ascenseur, l'impression d'être à l'hôtel) mais des détails comme une douche écossaise systématique et l'odeur de moisissure de la salle de bain ne contribue pas à vous mettre spécialement de bonne humeur ! La propreté du sol de la chambre douteux (à moins que ce sois le lino définitivement tâché ?) les boutons de lumières noirs de crasse, la peinture blanche des murs constellée de tâches.. C'est surtout la classification "d'exceptionnel" de l'auberge de jeunesse quand on à fait la réservation qui porte à confusion ! Bref, pour quelques jours c'est très bien mais pas plus.

Très agréable auberge avec un super accueil sur 24h. Des chambres très confortable et propre. Le tout à proximité de la gare des bus, des train et métro. Déconseillé d'y aller en voiture ou prendre parking couvert

El personal muy atento

L'auberge est super bien située, à côté de la garre termini, le staff sympathique et tout est plutôt propre. Le petit déjeuner consiste en une pasticceria et du café. Simple et efficace. Ils proposent aussi du vin gratuitement entre 19 et 21h tous les jours. Les lits doubles sont à éviter si possible car vous allez tanguer au rythme du sommeil de l'autre...

Nous étions un groupe, nous ne nous attendions pas à être logé à l'extérieur de l'auberge en trois lieux différents . Les chambres étaient bien, le dortoir correct , mais trois chambres sur cinq étaient très, très bruyantes, même en pleine nuit (travaux et personnes qui criaient) ( le dortoir à l'entrée bénéficie des propos de tous les gens qui passent à l'accueil). Il y avait des tiques dans une chambre. La cuisine est inadaptée pour un groupe, aucune vaiselle. La situation idéale pour visiter Rome. Le personnel à l'accueil est plein de bonne volonté, mais n'a aucune moyen de satisfaire les besoins des passagers quand un problème se pose.

Très bon établissement tant pour sa situation très proche de la gare Termini que pour l’accueil et les prestations offertes. Les dortoirs sont très joliment décorés et fonctionnels. Les parties communes le sont aussi avec notamment le cachet de l’ancien conservé grâce aux anciennes fresques aux plafonds. L’accueil est chaleureux et très disponible. Je recommande chaudement.

Je recommande pour les petits budgets.

Ostello piuttosto pulito in una zona comodissima (a pochi passi da Termini). Il personale parla diverse lingue ed è stato molto gentile. E' stata la mia prima volta in ostello ma l'esperienza è stata positiva. Al check in forniscono una chiave per accedere all'ascensore. Unica pecca: l'acqua non diventava mai calda ed anche aspettando un po' restava sempre tiepida.

Tre notte nell'Ostello della via Gaeta. Servizio ed accoglienza soddisfacenti, ma le tre notti furono rese movimentate a causa degli utenti che non rispettano il sonno degli altri (molto rumore e luce ascesa quando si parte alle 5:30 della mattina, ...).

Amazing place, very helpful service, free breakfast and wifi everywhere. What else can you ask for? :) Plus location - very close to Termini station and shuttles to both airports. Good value!

The staff: very friendly and helpful if you need anything. When you check in, they give you a city map and mark out the 'must see', which is useful if you want to plan the visits if you have limited time. My luggage got lost on the way to Rome, so I borrowed their phone to call the airport to see if they knew anything about my backpack. When it finally arrived two days later, they kept it for me until I could pick it up. You can also store your luggage here if you're arriving early or leaving late. The breakfast: different coffees (espresso, cappuchino, chocolat and so on) and croissants with different fillings. A good way to kick-start your day! In the evenings they also offer wine. There is also a kitchen with a fridge to use, if you want to make your own meals. Wifi is always a pluss. Location is also great, 5 minutes away from the railway station Termini, the metro and bus station. The 4 bed dorm I stayed in had big lockers, but you need to bring your own pad lock, as they don't sell them at the hostel (there's a minimarket around the corner where you can buy one). I recommend this place, and would also stay here again when in Rome the next time.

No bunks in our 4 bed dorm which was a nice change. Clean rooms. Great air con in the rooms. Free snacks and wine from 7pm. Free pastry and coffee breakfast. Very clean.

The wine every night, also very friendly staff with good recommendations.

This hostel is near the central railway station so you can Save time. The staff is friendly and willing to help.

This hostel is so well situated in the city centre!! We were able to get to all the must-see sights on foot, but the Termini station is very close by to get everywhere by train/ metro if you want! The hostel staff were friendly and helpful, and provide you with a map on arrival which was useful. Our room was basic but clean and perfect for what we needed! The hostel offers a free breakfast of croissants and a drink which, for the price you pay to stay, is great value for money!! I would definitely recommend staying at Freedom Traveller hostel.

Everything! The staff is very welcoming and nice, great breakfast (pastry), not many people in the rooms, and hot showers. The situation is great if you come from the airport.

It was really clean, and had a great family feel. Very safe atomosphere. Just a bit tricky to find. Only has a small sign.

There is a wonderful atmosphere that is mainly generated by the friendly, flexible and genuinely helpful staff. Shel alam in particular went above and beyond the call of duty for us and contributed massively to the enjoyment of our trip. I would definitely stay there again!

Hostel is in a lovely old building very near Termini station, within walking distance of most anything worth seeing and doing. It has a lovely courtyard garden. The staff is very nice and helpful. Room was large and air-conditioned. Bring your own lock for the room lockers. Hostel asks for a 10 euro deposit for the keys. I liked the place, it had everything I needed.

I like the location, the garden and the lounge area and the awesome breakfast, so tasty!

The convenience of the hostel was the best feature of me. Easy access to trains and the metro made my stay a lot easier.

It was a 2 minute walk from the train station, easy to find, and It was walking distance to everything ( 10-45 mins from everything worth seeing) the staff was very friendly And helpful, 24 hour front desk, free beakfast( croissant and espresso machine), 5 euro dinner across the street that includes pizza, pasta and a drink, and safe lockers and a Bag room. They let me keep my bags in the luggage room before and after check in and check out and the wifi was free and fast in rooms, lobby and outside! Great place to Stay:)

It's in the city centre, near the Termini train station. Really convenient.

The place is well maintanied and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very close to central station and easy to walk around the city. The location is perfect..

The location was good (very close to a transport hub and marker, and near some major attractions). Our room was on the first floor and there were good bedroom and bathroom locks, locks to the outer door of this part of the hostel and another lock on the door to the building (a bit like living in a bank vault). The downside of this was that, like all the hostels I've stayed at so far in Europe, no provision is made for escape during a fire (no smoke detectors either).

The owner was incredibly friendly and did his best to maintain a welcoming and social environment in the hostel. It was very apparent that he deeply cared that his customers had the best experience possible. Many of the residents during my stay were university students travelling, and everyone was extremely friendly with good stories to share. The place really fostered the true hostel experience, which is probably one of the best things a hostel could have.

The distance to Rome Termini (central station) can't be beat! It was just the right place to stay to get in and out of Rome, with easy connections via metro to major sights, and via shuttle buses to airport. I also liked that information you could possibly need was already in the hostel (walking tour, airport shuttle, etc). I also ended up making 2 bookings for 2 consecutive nights, and they didn't have us change rooms, which was a huge plus for convenience's sake. The 24 hour reception made it easy to check out at 5 am for my flight. A light breakfast (pastry and coffee/juice) was included which gave me a little kickstart to the day until I found a place to have a proper breakfast. I can't really comment on the atmosphere as I was only there to sleep, and spent my day outside of the hostel but it was clean, and felt safe, always a plus.
