About the place
All guestrooms in Polhena are under one roof in the main house. The spacious and modern accommodation offers a half covered swimming pool, a little garden and a 100m² big terrace. The huge common area with an open kitchen, the cosy living room and two open roof top terraces are perfect for relaxing after your surf session. In total, there are five comfortable dorms, that are all equipped with air condition and a separate bathroom.

The drivethru Surfcamp Polhena is located in the South of Sri Lanka in the middle of the small village of Polhena. The Ocean and diverse local shops and restaurants are easily accessible either by foot or by Tuk Tuk. In only a five minutes walk away you can reach Polhena Beach with its reef break in the water and some small local shops on shore.

this is one of the cleanest hostels I've been too! The staff were warm, accommodating, and very attentive. They always did their best to make sure you are comfortable. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location is good, with a wifi working well.

Personnel agréable, nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Et j'ai adoré dormir à la belle étoile sur la terrasse ( car il n'y a pas de tente mais qu'un par avant) pour 5 euros et la vue et superbe !

La chambre que j'avais était en sous sol donc sombre et a des problèmes d'aération dans la salle de bain. Donc il vaut mieux demander une chambre hors sous sol. Sinon tout était parfait et le personnel très accueillant et efficace.

L'équipe est adorable et arrangeante, l'endroit chaleureux et convivial. Possibilités d'utiliser des frigos en libre accès, d'arriver/repartir sans couvre-feu (l'hôtel est situé près de tout), après y avoir passé plusieurs nuits, je recommande vivement !

No tenía wifi. Las sábanas y la habitación en general olían mal, como a hospital. Y el baño dejaba que desear porque la ducha no tenía soporte, es decir, te duchabas en el suelo y empapabas tooodo el baño.

Excellent location. Reasonably clean (although, not sure how wise it is, from a hygiene point of view, to have the shower IN the toilet cubicle :/ ). One regrettable aspect of the hostel was a particular member of staff who seemed to be thoroughly stoned
