Art Hole Hostel

Just, thank you, this is a beautiful place, close to the center and all the staf are really nice, it's a living place where you can meet people in a good atmosphere.

La guitare à disponibilité est une très bonne idée. La décoration du lieu est très accueillante et invite à la joie. La disposition des pièces crée une certaine convivialité. Toutefois, il est désagréable de se faire réveiller en pleine nuit par un personnel de l'auberge, qui, en état d'ivresse, vient uriner sur le lit d'une cliente.

Auberge incroyable comme j'en ai peu vu à travers le monde ! Toutes les personnes qui s'occupent de l'hostel sont très agréables ! Une très bonne expérience ! Allez-y les yeux fermés ! Petit déjeuner très consistant en plus de ça quand on marche beaucoup !

Fue mi primera experiencia en un hostal de habitación compartida y la verdad que no tengo nada que criticarles, el equipo de recepción super atentas y educadas, baños limpios, camas cómodas, excelente desayuno y cena. Esta muy bien ubicado, a un par de cuadras del centro de Praga, a 2 cuadras tiene casas de cambio (Tip: así no tienen que cambiar en el aeropuerto sino para el metro y el bus del aeropuerto)

Les locaux sont propres, complets, agréables. L’accueil est au top. On nous propose un plan de la ville, des petits tips... l’ambiance est bonne, dynamique. Bon niveau de confort en tous points

Une chouette auberge de jeunesse que je recommande, j'y trouve tout de même un inconvénient: au bout de plusieurs jours, je me suis retrouvée avec d'intrigantes piqûres d'insecte auxquelles j'ai fait des réactions allergiques (gonflement, rougeur, pue qui s'en échappait)... Je fus la seule dans ma chambre avec cette expérience, soyez tout de même vigilant si vous avez des allergies aux acariens ou autre.

Nuestra estancia en el hotel ha sido bastante agradable, quienes dormíamos en las camas de doble colchón magnífica, y los de una algo regular. La cocina y el ambiente fenomenal, los baños simples. El único inconveniente que tuvimos fue en el pago; con tarjeta te cobra tu banco, con dinero checo te cobra el que te lo cambia aunque ahí no estuvo el problema, si no en que nos cobraron 5€ más del 5% que ya te avisan que te cobrarán (en la pagina pone 4%... pero bueno), ahí nos sentimos un poco estafados.

Auberge de jeunesse au top, avec beaucoup de service à côté (vente de ticket de bus, prêt de serviette de bain etc...). Petit bémole : la vetusté des locaux.

Je recommande cette auberge de jeunesse. Le personnel est très sympa. Il est bien placé par rapport au centre ville. Pleins d'extra en plus : serviette de bain fournie, repas du soir à 4€... seul bémole, les locaux un peu vetustent (dégâts des eaux, mal isolé etc...)

Jolie auberge, bien située

This is my second time at the Art Hole, and it was just a great as the first. The hostel is close to Old Town, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are pretty comfortable. There are two levels of the hostel, both have kitchens and areas to lounge, and people were very friendly.

Excelente servicio, muy amables y todo limpio.

Where do I begin? Central location? Check. Friendly staff? Check. Cozy atmosphere and beautiful decoration? Triple check. The hostel not only earns its name there, it is THE coziest place I've been to so far. The prices are reasonable, there are cheaper places but none with this atmophere. Well maintained, well run.

Super auberge! Très accueillante et bien aménagée!

Very clean, I was on an upper floor so it was quiet at night which was a pleasant surprise. I was able to meet people easily in the common area.

Art Hole hostel was fab. The dorm rooms (I stayed in a ten-bed) were large so it didn't feel crowded, and both floors had a communal kitchen and common room so it was really easy to meet people. Powerful shower (only only two per floor, although I didn't have any problems using one at any point)! The hostel was about a 10-minute walk from the Old Town Square and five minutes from a street with loads of clubs and bars, so the location couldn't be better. All of the staff were so helpful - especially Luke, the owner. Breakfast was basic (cereal, toast and spreads) but plentiful. They were also very happy for me to hang out around the hostel after I'd checked out - which was so useful given I had a late night-train. Would really recommend staying here.

Очень неплохой хостел, маленький, уютный. Больше всего понравилось вежливое и заботливое отношение персонала к гостям. Правда, в 16-местной комнате места маловато… но создалась очень дружественная обстановка. Классное удобное расположение

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and good location.

Fantastic atmosphere and really friendly staff. Very nice lounge area at the reception to meet, chill and interact with other travellers. Has a very nice homely feel while staying there. Very near the old Town Square and walking distance from some pretty good bars.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. There's breakfast included in the price and cheap dinner (2 Euros) if you so choose. It's cozy and comfortable. It is about a 15 minute walk from the main train station and even less to the centre of the city, so it's also a good location.

The hostel is very warm and welcoming and the staff are all lovely and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped, breakfast is included (as is tea, coffee and hot chocolate at anytime), the rooms and bathrooms were always clean and quite comfortable. The location is just outside the old town and everything you need is within walking distance. Bus station is an easy 10 minute walk.

Anish: It was located in close proximity to several city attractions but at the same time was not just next to them. The directions provided on Hostelbookers to get there were very good. All the staff at the reception were very resourceful and helpful. The free internet was handy and cleanliness was very good. Nice place to meet travelers from all around the world. There was a provision to have dinner in the hostel itself which was good option to have. Lot of nice artwork in the hostel. Lockers inside the dorm were well maintained. It was secure environment overall.

It's clean and the free breakfast is very good. The staff is friendly and helpfully. Great location, city centre is just 5 min walk away, shopping centre only 2 min.

I like their friendly staffs, their stylish room, location, breakfast and 2Euro dinner though I didn't try it. (One night not enough people they ended up canceled)

Best hostel I've been at. Great place, great decoration, great staff. The location is 10 minutes walking from the train station and also 10 minutes from the city center. The staff was really nice, cooked for us and some of them even joined us after work for having some beers! You should stay here!

Very sociable atmosphere

Art Hole is one of the absolute best hostels I've ever stayed at. The basics: amazing location (near bars, restaurants, grocery, shopping, and public transport), the building is safe and secure, the facilities are good (clean rooms and bathrooms, many bathrooms, washer, full kitchen with lots of equipment, games, computers, etc.) The wifi is extremely fast. The staff is friendly, flexible, and helpful. They let us pay after setting up camp and napping for a bit because we hadn't seen a cash machine to pull money yet. They unroll a map and show you all kinds of important and fun stuff. Every night they have something organized including homemade dinners (yummy!) and pub crawls (super fun! And cheap). The place has a cool vibe with art everywhere and everyone is in the common room or kitchen hanging out. Also, breakfast is delicious, and an actual breakfast unlike a lot of places!

Perfect location, never had to use public transportation once. Staff speaks English very well, clean, good breakfast (3 kinds of bread, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, fruit, jams and butters) , good cheap (2€) dinners from time to time, good advice on places to go and things to see, super friendly and attentive staff. Good opportunities to meet other travellers, Would definitely stay again.

Staff were extremely helpful, especially with booking busses and printing tickets. They also let us leave our luggage at the hostel for a few days.

Handy location not far from tram, close to square.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good. It's served from 8:30 until 11:00, but if you need to eat earlier is not a problem. You can leave your luggage at the hostel after your check-out. The showers and toilets are clean enough and despite the fact of having only two showers and three toilet for around 20 people, I only had to wait one day to use the shower and it wasn't for long.

This was the 2nd time I have stayed at Art Hole and it's a great hostel. Only 5 min walk from old town square, closer to the jewish district and 10 mins from main train station. The staff are very friendly, always helpful and 24 hour reception. The breakfast is slightly better than other hostels in the area that include free breakfast, and for a small price you can have dinner cooked one of the staff each night. This hostel is full of character and decorated very well.
