The air-con in the dorms is turned on continuously for 12 hours throughout the night (21:00 to 09:00). The dorms are ventilated with fans during the day. The common area is fully air-conditioned during the day.
To upkeep the cleanliness of the hostel, no footwear is allowed indoors (except in the toilets).

Reception hours are 7-11am(for guest to check out/ for check in guests to leave luggage) and 4-8pm (for check-in)
Late check in after 8pm is chargeable at S$8 per booking (8pm to 12 midnight) and $16 per booking (after 12 midnight). Prior arrangement required.
Check-out time: before 11am
No children below the age of 5. Children aged between 5 and 11 years can be accommodated in private rooms only.
Please note that we are located on the 4th floor of a heritage shophouse without a lift.
$20 key replacement fee in the event of loss or damage

Perfect place to stay in Singapore! Close to eveyrything, really friendly staff and very cozy atmosphere! We stayed in the 24 bed dorm which was no problem because the common areas are very comfortable. Feels like a little fammily- definately recommend staying there!
Very clean facilities, excellent location 2 minutes from the metro, but walking distance to most of the major sites and areas of the city.

How clean and safe it is
Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is very clean and tidy. Good powerful showers, comfy beds with good sized locker to store your valuables. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Super fast WIFI in every room. Aircon made getting to sleep much easier. Good Breakfast included in the price. The location is perfect, all the big attractions are within walking distance and the MRT station is 2mins away which made finding to hostel very easy even for me! They also allowed me to leave my luggage at the hostel after I had checked out as my flight was not until later that evening which was really helpful. If you need a good place to stay you can't go wrong with the River City Inn.

It was really close to the city centre. Very clean, quite, tidy and nice! Air-con everywhere, breakfast included and a very friendly and helpful staff!!!
Nice and calm ambiance inside the hostel good for a relaxing stay. The needs of travellers are available. Staffs are accomodating. The location is perfect because it is near in different must visits places like malls, attractions and transportations.
Located right by Clarke Quay, easy to get to, staff speaks English and is easy to communicate with. The rooms are clean and the WiFi is good. Air conditioning in the dorm room was good. They have universal adapters for your electronics in case you forget or lose yours like I did.
Friendly staff, free water, breakfast ( toast, coffee, banana). We can borrow iron, hair dryer.
