Très bonne auberge pour des étudiants (interrail), très propre et excellent rapport qualité-prix

My instance at this hostel was not satisfying. When we (my friend and I) arrived to the hostel, they first made us pay 3€ each more for a tourist tax Wich was not included in the final price and the only place where this appeared was once the reservation was done, in the receipt, written in small letters. Apart from this, the guy in the reception told us that we were going to pay 54€ each (102€ reservation + 6€ tourist tax = 108€). After paying the quantity in forints (coin of Hungary ) we received our bank receipts where we could notice that instead of 54€, they took from us 61€. After studying every possible answer, we realized that the Meininger hostel lied to us, and when they asked for our payment in forints they used their own invented coin change instead of using the worldwide one. Soy they charged each of us 7€ more. When we talked with them at reception they were not able to explain us the situation and they just told us to write to an email account which does not answer back... For us, they were a bunch of liers and scammers.

Io e altre 3 ragazze abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti. L'accoglienza è stata ottima, nonostante un po' di attesa per ricevere le carte per la stanza. Sono stati molto gentili a offrirci qualcosa da bere mentre aspettavamo. La stanza fantastica così come il bagno, oltre ad essere molto spazioso. Cercherò sicuramente di prenotare di nuovo al MEININGER nei prossimi viaggi.

Je recommande fortement cette auberge ! C’est propre, au centre donc à environ 20/30 min à pied de tout. Très bonne expérience , le personnel est très à l’écoute lors de notre arrivée

Très bonne auberge. Le personnel est agréable et fait tout son possible pour satisfaire vos demandes. Les chambres (dortoirs de 6 femmes) sont spacieuses et bien aménagées. La localisation est idéale ! Je recommande vivement !

1min from Food Market, 30min from Parliament by walk. Poor wifi in our room (only 1 bar).

Close to the market where you can try local food and goa round the shops. The staff were accommodating and the toilets were cleaned regularly.

The rooms are spacious, eds are sturdy and comfortable with individual reading light and socket. The lockers are not too big but ac and the tv is working.
