Mérite un gros coup de neuf. Dans la chambre - aucun porte manteau / veste dans la chambre, nous ne savions même pas où faire sécher nos serviettes - murs dans un mauvais état (autocollants et marques d'usure) - fenêtres très sales - rideaux pas du tout occultants - tables de nuit très sales - lampes de chevet à Led très fortes (un blanc froid pour les ampoules) = impossible de ne pas réveiller toute la chambre en allumant une simple petite lampe Dans la salle de bain : - pas assez de porte vêtements / serviettes - porte pleine de moisissure dûe à l'humidité - mauvaise aération = très mauvaises odeurs Escalier d'entrée : - forte odeur de cigarette Quartier : - les chambres donnent sur la rue. Rue vivante certes mais c'est les clients du bar DE L'AUBERGE-MÊME, ivres, qui font le plus de bruit. même avec des bouchons pour oreilles nous les entendions.

En plus d'une chambre confortable, nous avons profité du restaurant (excellent rapport qualité-prix) et de l'ambiance du bar :) Personnel très sympathique et serviable, lieu idéal pour rencontrer des voyageurs de divers horizons !

nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cette auberge, c’était super ! le personnel est adorable et disponible, le bar de l’auberge est très sympa, les chambres et salles de bain sont propres et sont calmes la nuit.

Situé à côté du Quartier-Rouge, l'ambiance de l'auberge-bar est destiné à ceux qui veulent faire la fête le soir. On rentre dans un bar avant de pouvoir accéder aux dortoirs. Malgré l'inquiétude le premier jour, il y a une bonne isolation phonique entre le bar et les chambres. Et le bar est un lieu où même les Amstellodamois viennent profiter.

Nous avons passé un super séjour. L’auberge est super sympa, il y a une bonne ambiance au bar ou au restaurant. La chambre et salle de bain étaient propres. Rien a dire ! L’auberge est vraiment bien placé. Nous avons pu tout faire à pied, resto, musée, shopping, coffee.

Je recommande cette auberge pour des vacances entre jeunes ! Le personnel est vraiment cool et agréable, ambiance très familiale ! Les locaux sont top : salle de bain privative dans les dortoirs, restaurant... Petit-déjeuner compris dans le prix, vraiment pratique!

Accueil super sympa ! Et le personnel est dispo 24/24 ! Très bien placé ! Calme la nuit ! (Et encore merci aux dames de ménage qui ont même replié nos vêtements ;) ) Petit déjeuner à 5€ : une assiette avec deux petits pains, fromage, jambon, petits pots de beurre et confiture, tomate, concombre et 1/2 banane.

La localisation de l'auberge et parfaite et le staff est sympathique Le bar et le restaurant de l'auberge sont également très conviviale Très propre, calme et le petit déjeuné est très copieux Petit point négatif : il n'y a aucune salle de bain à l'extérieur de la chambre (pour se sécher les cheveux sans faire de bruit c'est compliqué) il manque des petites tablettes près des lits pour poser ses affaires la nuit

Bonne auberge. Propreté des chambres très correctes. La bar au rez-de-chaussée apporte un gros plus ( bonne musique et bonne bouffe ) Un peu bruyant mais bon c’est Amsterdam!

We had a really good time in this hostel!! The staff is really nice and helpful. Good location, near to the tramway and many good places to visit and to eat/drink. Go there!!

We booked a whole room for the 5 of us, and it was a very good surprise: it's very well located yet not too noisy, the price is very reasonable and there is a convenient bar/restaurant downstairs. People are generally young.

Cette auberge de jeunesse est au top! Dans un quartier vraiment chouette et vivant, pas d'insécurité et pas trop bruyant. Chambres modestes mais suffisantes. Très originales avec leurs tags ou peintures uniques. Salles de bains peut-être un peu petites tout de même. Bar à l'entrée avec des tarifs intéressants jusqu'à minuit. Une boîte de nuit juste à côté que je n'ai pas testé. Petit-dej assez complet et très agréable quand on peut profiter de la terrasse. Magasin de location de vélo à 2 min. Un peu cher mais ça reste Amsterdam. Bref, je recommande pour être au coeur de la ville et profiter de l'ambiance dans un cadre sympa.

L'auberge est extrêmement agréable. Avec à disposition une terrasse, un restaurant/bar, les chambres sont extrêmement bien insonorisées et confortables. Coffres sous le lit qui, si on ramène un cadenas, peuvent être fermés à clé (ils contiennent une valise), et petit déjeuner gratuit si on a réservé depuis leur site web : sinon, quatre euro par personnes mais c'est bon marché pour la qualité. En plein centre ville. Je recommande pleinement !

I've stayed at this hostel before and they always deliver. The entire staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The location is perfect. Just a few steps from Dam Square and right in the middle of the Red Light District. Also, plenty of coffeeshops, restaurants and shopping boutiques all around. This hostel is also very clean and safe. The bar/restaurant in the lobby are fun and the food/drinks are reasonably priced with specials almost everyday. The complimentary breakfast every morning is also great. Thanks guys for a great stay.

The hostel is located in the red light district so is great for travellers wanting a night out like us but not for people who want an early night (people are loud outside until around 4am). The included breakfast had everything you would want and helped save money.

The hostel was so close to absolutely everything. It is a two minute walk to Dam Square and about 5 minute walk to the Red Light District. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay at the hostel, we did not use public transport once during the stay. The hostel itself is also very good in terms of their facilities. In the bedrooms we were provided with a fan, a hairdryer and hair straighteners. The rooms are extremely spacious so you don't feel cramped with people you don't know. They also offer 25% off food and drink for the duration of the stay. The bar is lovely and the staff are very friendly. They also have a lot of free vouchers at reception offering discounts on different things to do around Amsterdam.

Amazing place! Great vibe, great food (I can highly recommend their potatoe wedges!), friendly staff, comfortable, clean beds in small dorms with a massive vault for storing personal items (I managed to squeeze 2 small trolley bags into one), good safety protocols, one of the best free buffet breakfast's I've seen around... and I haven't even mentioned the location yet. It's just 2 min away from Amsterdam Central Station, right next to the Dam Square (For reference: I'm actually from Amsterdam myself, but emigrated abroad, after having visited some 500+ hostels on numerous trips around the world; but this one definitely won a top 25 spot!)

Have a noise in the night. No too clean, because a badroom with 8 diferent person is a mass sometimes. Good breakfast. People nice.

The location is great, right in the middle of the action, and only 5 or less min walk from Amsterdam central station. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are very tidy, cleaners come every morning to clean the rooms, I will definitely stay at this hostel again if I visit Amsterdam.

Great atmosphere, cheap, good location

Really central, decent location for the main sights of Amsterdam. Rooms were comfortable. Facilities were sound.
